Air Duct Cleaning
AIR DUCT CLEANING
There are many reasons to have the air ducts in your home or office cleaned, but the most important is to ensure the health of your family and co-workers! Indoor air pollution has been identified as the top environmental health risk in the US. But air duct cleaning has been shown to improve air quality and reduce indoor air contaminants, making your home or office a healthier place to work and live!
SIGNS YOUR AIR DUCTS NEED CLEANING
Sneezing or other allergy symptoms flare up when the A/C or heat is running (indicates dust or pollen in system)
Your HVAC system isn’t working well. The problem isn’t always the unit itself, but can be from dirty air ducts. Air duct cleaning can improve the system’s efficiency.
Your floors are dirtier than normal. You are vacuuming or sweeping more often, or there is a dust line along the baseboards of your rooms.
AIR DUCT CLEANING IS RECOMMENDED EVERY 4-7 YEARS.
But when else should I clean my ducts?
- When moving into a new home to get rid of dust and debris left by construction
- When moving into a used home to get rid of household contaminates to get a fresh start
- To remove pet dander
- To remove the odor from tobacco smoke
- If allergies have just been diagnosed or become worse
- After remodeling or adding to your home
- After new hardwood or carpet installation

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING AN AIR DUCT CLEANING?
Firstly, expect that your air duct cleaning will take some time to perform. The time to clean is determined by the number of systems and ducts in your home. On average, a home with two systems will take 3-6 hours to perform a thorough cleaning. Our process is designed to prevent inconvenience for the customer. We always clean up any messes that may be created, we move the furniture where necessary and leave your home exactly as we arrived. Just with a much better air quality!
Enviroduct’s air duct cleaning equipment uses cameras, mirrors and other inspection tools that allow us to safely clean most types of ductwork. The only exception to cleaning eligibility is duct board. Duct board has exposed fibers that may be dislodged causing problems. Depending on the design of your duct system, Enviroduct will use a combination of negative air, brush applications and air whips to provide the best cleaning possible.
