How long will it take to clean my dryer vent?
Cleaning take approximately 1 hour from start to finish.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
It is helpful if you have the area surrounding the dryer cleared before arrival. If you store items on the dryer, directly above or to the side, removing those items will speed up the cleaning process. Clearing these areas will allow us to pull your dryer away from the wall to clean the vent properly.

Do you need to be able to access my vent from outside?
Yes, we will also clean the vent from the exterior of the house, but there isn’t anything specific you need to do to prepare that space.

How long will I have to wait for sampling results to know if I have a problem of concern?

What will you do if I have a black mold problem?
The Enviroduct team will work with you to quickly connect you with an experienced mold remediation professional who will work with you on containment, then correct of the problem.

If you find mold, should I scrub it down with Clorox?
NO! Disturbing an area of mold can cause the microbes to become airborne. It is best to let a professional first CONTAIN the area, then remove it properly.

If you find suspicious microbes in my house, will you help me determine a plan of what to do next?
Absolutely, having experience in both testing and remediation gives us the ability to help you assess your situation and provide recommendations as to how you should proceed. We will connect you with trusted professionals for remediation and be sure you are treated fairly throughout the process by working as your advocate.

How long will it take you to clean my air ducts?
Cleaning ducts takes time to do it properly. Expect that someone will be at your home for 3-6 hours for a 2 unit household. We won’t need any assistance during that time so you can go about your day, but we will need to be there for that length of time.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
We will need access to all air vents and air intake panels. If you have any items (chairs, plants, etc.) that are blocking access, moving them to the side will be helpful. But only if you are comfortable moving them! We will move any heavy objects that need to be temporarily moved for cleaning.

Will you put clean air filters in before leaving my house?

My vents are constructed from ‘ductboard.’ Can you clean those?
Unfortunately we are unable to clean this type of vent due to frequent breakdown of the substance.

Will you need to access an exterior water spout at my house to clean my driveway, sidewalk or siding?
